In step #4 for the cake instructions, the instructions say to stir the cola mixture vigorously to keep the eggs from becoming scrambled. Would it work to use a hand mixer after each egg addition to the cola mixture? If so, what should the speed be? I love Coca-Cola cake and look forward to trying this recipe.

In the Ingredients for the glaze you list 4 cups of sugar and vanilla. In the instructions there is not mention of the either. I am making the cake for this Saturday. Please advise! Thank you.

I made this cake today and noticed in the directions for the cake part you say to add the buttermilk and vanilla, but the vanilla isn’t listed on the ingredient list for the cake. How much vanilla do you add to the cake mixture? Thanks!
