Years in the making, my cookbook is finally here! I’m so excited to share my favorite recipes with you in 8 chapters of delicious goodness! You’ll also find all my go-to tips for baking the best tasting cakes and decorating the most beautiful looking cakes in a full chapter of written and picture tutorials and instructions.
This 416 page cookbook is filled with pictures, how-tos, and 170 recipes for cake layers, fillings, buttercreams, and toppings.
I can’t wait for you to dive in and bake. My hope is that you’ll connect with the recipes, the stories, the pictures, and the process – and most of all, that the kitchen becomes your happy place, like it’s become for me.

When will the books ship? Due to backups at US ports, custom delays, and delivery delays, we unfortunately cannot guarantee the books will ship before Christmas. Are there new recipes in the book? Yes! And a lot of our favorites from the blog that I’ve updated and improved. The best news? I’m not taking recipes off my site when the book launches. I want you to be able to access these recipes whenever you need them, wherever you are, and especially if the book isn’t in your budget right now. These recipes mean the world to me. You mean the world to me. I want you to bake with them no matter what!
Are there pictures for every cake? Yes! Nearly every cake has not just one picture, but TWO pictures. One of the outside and one of the inside. You’ll also get pictures with step-by-step tutorials for stacking and decorating cakes, making fillings like caramel, and making buttercream. Plus, I’ve thrown in some pictures of the family, products I love, and pictures that are just pretty to look at. So even if you don’t bake a ton, you’ll get a great coffee table book too!
Anything other than cake in the book? Yes! I have dozens if fillings and buttercream recipes, in addition to all the cake layers. You’ll also find a chapter called Cake Class with all of my go-to tips and advice for baking the best tasting cakes and decorating cakes like a pro.

Hi! first off – I absolutely love your book …..I bought your book when it first came out on Amazon. Anyway, I’m sure your aware, it has a couple of mistakes in it. Not a big deal for me but, I want to buy another one for my daughter. Have the books your selling currently on your site been updated? Or should I wait a bit longer for a book with corrections in it? I have the version with the errors and just need clarification on if there should be baking soda and vinegar added to the strawberry cake. If so, how much of each? Thank you!
So sorry about that! Ignore the baking soda and vinegar line and just add the baking powder with flour as listed in ingredients.
